The extraordinarily smooth, low friction proprietary coating reduces tissue drag. These synthetic absorbable sutures ensure closure through the critical wound healing period. They retain approximately 50% of their high initial strength at two weeks and 20% of their strength at three weeks.
This suture has a 17 mm taper point, with a round shaft (straight or curved) with no cutting edge. Commonly used for soft tissue closure such as fascia, vascular, gastrointestinal and most soft tissue below the skin.

Metro Areas (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Hobart, Canberra, Adelaide):
- Please note that metro areas are defined by our freight companies (some regional areas are included).
- Delivery is free for eligible standard orders over $250 (excl. GST).
- A handling charge of $15.00 + GST will be charged for orders under $250 (excl. GST).
Non–Metro, Regional, and Country
- Goods delivered outside the metro area, including backorders, will incur additional freight charges to the metro fees.
Freight Charges that apply for all areas:
- Heavy, large or sensitive items (i.e. furniture, autoclaves, equipment, bulky products)
- These charges will be calculated on a case by case basis
Cold Chain Deliveries
- All cold chain orders are sent on a separate invoice
- All cold chain deliveries will contain a heat & freeze monitor
- Metro Cold chain deliveries are free for orders over $500 worth of cold chain products (excl. GST)
- A handling charge of $25.00 + GST will be charged for metro orders under $500 (excl. GST)
- Non-Metro, regional and country cold chain orders may incur additional freight charges to the metro fees.
