This synthetic absorbable monofilament indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/ or ligation but not for use in cardiovascular or neurological tissues, microscopy or ophthalmic surgery. At 14 days it retains 80-90% tensile strength, 60-82% at 28 days, 47-79% at 42 days and essentially absorbed between 180 and 220 days.
This suture has a 26 mm taper point, with a round shaft (straight or curved) with no cutting edge. Commonly used for soft tissue closure such as fascia, vascular, gastrointestinal and most soft tissue below the skin.

Non–Metro, Regional, and Country
- Goods delivered outside the metro area, including backorders, will incur additional freight charges to the metro fees.
Freight Charges that apply for all areas:
- Heavy, large or sensitive items (i.e. furniture, autoclaves, equipment, bulky products)
- These charges will be calculated on a case by case basis
Cold Chain Deliveries
- All cold chain orders are sent on a separate invoice
- All cold chain deliveries will contain a heat & freeze monitor
- Metro Cold chain deliveries are free for orders over $500 worth of cold chain products (excl. GST)
- A handling charge of $25.00 + GST will be charged for metro orders under $500 (excl. GST)
- Non-Metro, regional and country cold chain orders may incur additional freight charges to the metro fees.
