The RACGP’s Standards for general practices (5th edition) is a guide for benchmarking quality care and risk management in Australian general practices. It covers clinical governance, patient care, practice management, and equipment requirements for primary care.

To meet criterion 5.2 of the RACGP standards for general practice 5th edition, your practice must have all the equipment necessary to provide services that meet local needs and support the procedures performed in the practice. Your equipment must enable your practice to provide comprehensive primary care and emergency resuscitation.

We’ve included below some examples of product types listed in the standards, such as Electrocardiographs (ECGs), Scales, and Defibrillators.
