Team Medical is excited to present the 2026 Practice Nurse Awards, celebrating the amazing nurses who go above and beyond in wound care. With two categories, Outstanding Achievement in Wound Care and Rising Star in Wound Care, we’re recognising both experienced leaders and the next generation of clinical talent.
Award Categories
The Team Medical Nurse Awards will feature two awards, with the categories open to nurses
who have demonstrated extraordinary achievements in wound care
Highlighting remarkable accomplishments in wound care
The Outstanding Achievement in Wound Care Award will highlight excellence in the wound care field. Candidates must demonstrate outstanding patient care by providing exceptional wound management. This award is open to nurses and health care assistants across Australia.
Highlighting nurses in the early stages of their career (up to 5 years) that have made a positive impact in wound care
The Rising Star in Wound Care Award is open to nurses who exemplify a passion for their work and have made an impact in a short time through practice, leadership, service and education. They are in the early stages of their career (up to 5yrs) and the winner will demonstrate excellence by engaging in projects, publications, research, activities, and/or initiatives that have a positive impact in wound care.
